Tiffany played in the Old Goat Junior Golf League again this year and her team placed 4th in the tournament. Great job, Tiff!

Park and Picnic

The kids ate their McDonald's picnic and then played at the park. As soon as I pulled the camera out, all I heard was "take a picture, take a picture". We got many pictures that night.

Quick trip to the lake!

We made a quick trip to the lake on Saturday afternoon, but it was a little chilly and windy. Tiffany and Sam were the only ones that ventured into the cool water.

Remote Control Boat

Grandpa Thomas bought Kai a remote control boat for his birthday. The kids have a blast racing it on the water. Thanks papa!!

Newport Rodeo Weekend

Last weekend was the Newport Fair and Rodeo. We skipped the rodeo and took in the parade - the kids got lots of goodies.

Weekend at the Jardine's

Courtney and I flew down to Utah and spent the weekend before BBYC at the Jardine's. We had fun walking through the markets in Salt Lake, eating, shopping at Marine Products, eating, shopping for a prom dress and more eating. Auntie Kathy drove Courtney to the University of Utah for her camp - thanks Kathy!

Be The Best You Camp

Courtney spent the week down in Salt Lake at "Be the Best You Camp" at the University of Utah. She met girls from all over the US. She read to underprivileged children, organized a party for special needs kids, visited a seniors center, listened to some great speakers (Barbara Jones, John Bytheway, Scott Anderson and Kenneth Cope) and even had their own "American Idol" contest.

Golfing at the Ranch Club

We took in a quick game of golf during Chris' lunch break on Tuesday. Sam golfed all nine holes with us. Great job, Sam!

BIG Boo Boo!

Getting doubled bounced on the tramp is fun, until your mouth smacks into someone's knee. Sam split his lip open - lots of blood, but we think he'll live!

Fishing Derby

On Saturday, we went to the Priest Lake Fishing Derby. The kids got fishing rods, tackle boxes, t-shirts, hats and a bag of goodies. Fish and Game stocked the pond with 800 fish, but none of them were biting. We only caught one in the two hours we were there - the kids didn't care, they had fun anyway! Sam got to try out his new rocket launcher fishing rod.

Kai turns EIGHT!

We celebrated Kai's birthday on Friday. We went to the movie "Surf's Up" and then went to Chuck E. Cheese to play. Chuck E. Cheese was super fun - but the movie was not so great.

FHE on the Lake

Last night it was 81 degrees outside and humid. Rain was on the way, but we decided to take the boat out and play for Family Home Evening. The lake was like glass and we had it all to ourselves. The kids had fun on the tube, swimming and fishing. We didn't catch any, but we got a few bites - those fish are pretty good at eating the bait right off the hook.
