Karate Kai!

Kai tested for his purple belt and passed ... we attended his Karate Promotions Ceremony last week. Great job, Kai!

Spring is officially here

The boys charged up the JEEP and spent the day collected pine cones and sticks. We got the back yard almost cleaned up. We had to tear off the roof of the play set ... the snow was a little too heavy for it this winter and half of it collapsed. Oh well, the boys think it looks more like a pirate ship now!

The BUG is out of commission

Chris and I were on our way to Spokane on Saturday night and stopped for gas at the Shell Station, we didn't even make it out of the parking lot when the bug stalled ... Chris called his friend that fixes our vehicles and this is what was in our gas tank. We're not even sure what it is and when we talked to the manager at Shell, they denied that it was their gas even though we were stalled in their lot with a receipt from Shell for 13 gallons of gas ... our tank only holds 13 gallons. It's a mystery??!! Some people make me so angry! Not a great date night!

Chris found this little guy in our window well ... we're not sure if it's a mouse or a mole. Check out the claws on this thing!! Any guesses?

Spring Break - Part 2

The kids and I went skiing at 49 degrees North ... beautiful Spring skiing. It was sunny and warm and the snow was amazing. Sam is flying solo now and his confidence builds every run. I had a really cute picture of all the kids and I was so sad to find out that I deleted it by mistake. Darn!!!!

Spring Break - PART 1

We spent the week at Stoneridge Resort for Spring Break this year ... it's only 15 minutes from Newport, so Chris was able to drive into work. We had lots of fun!
