Out with the OLD and in with the NEW!

Well, the time had finally come to cut Kai's hair. He's had it shaggy for a couple of years now and we decided to do some grooming! Kai was happy when it was done!

Kai's Piano Recital

Kai had his year end piano recital out at his teacher's house. It was a beautiful day, listening to music out on the deck. Kai also auditioned for the Guild again this year and did amazing. He is looking forward to joining "band" in September ... he still hasn't decided if he wants to play the saxophone or the trombone.

Our GIANT Tulip!

We grew this giant tulip in our backyard ... it may not be that big to some of you, but to us it was huge!

Soccer and Softball

Brittni came to visit and we headed down to the school to play a little soccer and softball.  It was very hot, but we played for a few hours.  Courtney, Brittni and Tiffany got hemp tattoos at Silverwood the day before. Very cool, girls!

Honors Society Nominations

Courtney was nominated by her high school counselor for "The National Society of High School Scholars" and "All-American Scholars Society".  She applied and received her membership to both.  Congratulations, Courtney!

Courtney's Softball Season

Courtney played softball for the high school this spring.  It was her first time playing softball and she loved it.  She was the catcher for most of the season.

Seminar in Moses Lake

I'm playing catch-up, so bare with me.  Chris had a chiropractic seminar in Moses Lake, so we tagged along and hung out at parks, went swimming and to the movies!  Chris goes to this seminar every year and we all look forward to a weekend away!
