Sam lost his first tooth!

Sam had a wiggly tooth for about a week ... on Saturday, the boys played all day long and then later in the afternoon, they settled down to watch a movie. Sam noticed a weird space in his teeth ... his tooth was gone! We looked everywhere for it, but it was no where to be found ... we felt pretty confident that the tooth fairy would come anyway and so Sam went to bed dreaming of a visit from the tooth fairy. Sure enough, she came and left 2 dollars. Sam was pretty excited!

Good Citizen Award

Sam received a Good Citizenship Award at a school assembly this week and Kai sang in the choir for a Veteran's Day assembly. Good job, boys!

The Ribbon Festival

Kai played in the music festival and competed in several categories ... he was so excited to take first place in musical art. Some of the categories he competed in were: Christmas songs, jazz, rag-time, lullaby, theory, musical art and waltz.

Trip to Spokane Temple

It was Tiffany's first time going to the temple for baptisms and Grandma and Grandpa Russell just happened to be visiting, so they were able to come with us. It was a great experience for all of us.

A Map to my House!

Sam came home from school today and told Chris and I that one of his friends invited him to their house. He said he didn't know his name, but he drew Sam a map to his house. Oh my, how cute!
