Romeo and Juliet Skit

Courtney's Honors English class put on "Romeo and Juliet" skits. Each group had to rewrite the story with their own little twist. Courtney's group was hilarious! They were asked to perform again for the whole freshman class - way to go Court!

Napoleon Dynamite Sighting

When we were skating at the Ice Palace the girls were sure they had spotted Napoleon Dynamite skating at the rink. The girls watched him for awhile and then Nancy called him over for a picture. This picture is terrible, but you can still see the resemblance. Lets just say he skated about as well as you would imagine the real Napoleon Dynamite could. He was a trooper and posed for the picture.

Skating at The Ice Palace

We went skating this weekend at the Ice Palace to celebrate Courtney's 15th birthday. The girls had a blast! Some of Courtney's friends had only skated once or twice before, but they got the hang of it and felt pretty confident by the end of the night.

Tiffany Bakes a Cake!

Tiffany was bored last weekend and decided to bake and decorate a cake. She was pretty excited when she was done. Good job Tiff!

We love our cousins!

The kids don't get to see most of their cousins on the Russell side very often, so we spent every minute we could with eachother. We thoroughly enjoyed our time together and wish we lived closer.

Cameron finally gets married!

With Cameron turning 28 this year, we are so excited that he finally got married. Cameron and Joanna were married on February 10th in Lethbridge. Our whole family was there and we had a fabulous time together. I think the water park and dancing at the reception were the highlights for everyone. The kids danced for hours and there were even moms' and dads' out there tearing up the dance floor too. Pretty fun!

Hayden's Birthday Party

While we were in Canada we were lucky enough to catch Hayden's birthday party. He had a "Cars" theme and the kids had a great time.

A visit from the Tooth Fairy

A week before we left for Canada, Kai finally lost one of his front teeth. When we were in Canada we stayed at the Ramada with the water park. While the kids were playing with their cousins in the pool, a tube smacked Kai in the face and knocked out his other front tooth. After lots of blood and quite a few tears, Kai was okay with the BIG space in his smile. How lucky; two visits from the tooth fairy in just over a week. WOW!

Skiing at Schweitzer!

We decided we better get out on the slopes and ski before the season was over, so we headed out to Schweitzer for night skiing. It was perfect weather - just barely below freezing and we enjoyed every minute of it.
